SMIT HOLDINGS LIMITED is an investment holding company. The Company operates as one security devices provider for pay television (TV) broadcasting access worldwide and for mobile point-of-sale (mPOS), or mPOS payment systems in China. The Company's mPOS products are designed to be used primarily by business enterprises for secure and convenient payment transactions. It sells its mPOS devices in China to hardware-based mobile payment service providers, which utilize its mPOS devices in conjunction with their own mobile applications to enable end users to make mobile payment transactions. The Company's conditional access modules, or conditional access module (CAM) products are used to provide end users with access to pay TV content.
