Profile Summary
South Pacific Metals Corp. is a Canada-based gold-copper exploration company operating across Papua New Guinea's proven gold and copper production corridors. The Company’s projects include Osena, Anga, Kili Teke, and May River. The Osena project, covering 738 square kilometers (km2) of strategic ground, is located southwest adjacent to the Au-Cu-producing K92 project in the Kainantu District. The Anga project is located immediately northeast adjacent to K92’s operating Kainantu Gold Mine, known for its gold, copper and silver outputs. The project consists of 461 km2 of exploration licenses in the Kainantu District. The May River project spans 1,697 km2 of licenses adjacent to the tier-1 Frieda River Cu-Au Project in the East Sepik Province. The Kili Teke project is located in the Western Highlands of Papua New Guinea in a prolific gold mineralized region, which consists of a 253 km2 exploration license (EL 2310).
