Standard Premium Finance Holdings, Inc. is a specialized finance company, which makes collateralized loans to businesses and individuals to finance the insurance premiums they pay on their commercial property and casualty insurance policies. The Company operates in 37 states. It has developed relationships with insurance agents and brokers located in its market area who offer insurance premium loans as a service to their customers which the Company underwrites. The Company evaluates each insurance premium loan application according to its loan underwriting criteria. Upon its approval of an insurance premium loan, the borrower makes a down payment, generally 20% to 25% of the annual premium on the financed insurance policy, and the Company provides the balance of the annual premium required to purchase the policy. The Company's subsidiary, Standard Premium Finance Management Corporation, is a licensed insurance premium finance company in 37 states.
