Profile Summary
Tidelands Oil & Gas Corporation is primarily focused on the development and operation of transportation and storage infrastructure for natural gas in South Texas and the Northern Mexican states of Tamaulipas and Nuevo Leon through its 20% ownership interest in Frontera Pipeline, LLC (Frontera), and the regasification of liquefied natural gas (LNG) project in the offshore waters of Southern California. In January 2008, the Company announced the sale of its wholly owned subsidiary, Sonterra Energy Corporation (Sonterra) to Bentley Energy Corporation. The Company announced the sale on October 14, 2008, of its remaining 20% interest in Frontera Pipeline LLC (Frontera) to Grand Cheniere Pipeline LLC. Grand Cheniere Pipeline LLC is a subsidiary of Cheniere Energy, Inc. and, prior to this sale, was the 80% owner of Frontera.
