Profile Summary
Turaco Gold Limited is an Australia-based gold exploration company, which is engaged in developing the Afema Project in southern Cote d’Ivoire, West Africa. The Afema Project is located in south-east Cote d’Ivoire on the Ghanian border, 120 kilometers (km) east of Abidjan and is serviced by a new bituminized major highway connecting Abidjan to Ghana. It has three contiguous exploration permits covering a combined area of 812 square kilometers (km2), providing a total granted Afema Project area of 1,040 km2. A further exploration permit application is also held covering an additional 228 km2, and it has an option over an additional application area covering 366 km2, providing a total Afema Project area of over 1,600 km2.
