Profile Summary
Visioneering Technologies, Inc. is an eye care company. The Company designs, manufactures, sells and distributes contact lenses. The Company provides solutions for presbyopia, myopia and astigmatism. The Company operates through two segments: North America and Europe / Asia-Pacific. The North America segment includes its operations in the United States and Canada. The Europe/Asia-Pacific segment includes its operations outside of North America. The Company’s flagship product is the NaturalVue (etafilcon A) Enhanced Multifocal 1-Day Contact Lens, an extended depth of focus lens for children with myopia (nearsightedness) and adults with presbyopia (the progressive loss of the ability to see near that occurs in middle age). It manages warehousing and distribution of its products through a contract with a third-party logistics provider (3PL). The 3PL stores its inventory and ships it to its customers, which include contact lens distributors.
