The Western Investment Company of Canada Limited is an insurance and investments holding company focused on decentralized ownership of insurance businesses and centralized investment management. The Company has investments in Fortress Insurance Company, Golden Health Care, Foothills Creamery Ltd., and GlassMasters ARG Autoglass Two Inc. The principal business of Fortress Insurance Company involves property insurance, but it also offers insurance for niche products, including accident and sickness, automobile, boiler and machinery, fidelity, legal expense, liability, marine and surety. Golden Health Care operates care homes throughout Saskatchewan. Foothills Creamery Ltd produces ice cream, butter, soft serve, frozen yogurt, sorbet, sherbet, and ice cream cones for the retail and food service markets. GlassMasters ARG Autoglass Two Inc. provides automotive glass services.
