Profile Summary
Kavango Resources plc is a metals exploration company. The Company has interests in about 18 prospecting licenses, totaling over 6,000 square kilometers in the Kalahari Copper Belt (KCB), where it is targeting copper-silver mineralization. Its Kalahari Suture Zone (KSZ) project covers over 7,600 square kilometers (km2) over the KSZ, a 450km-long crustal structure believed to offer strong potential for nickel, copper, and platinum group element (PGE) mineralization. The Ditau Project comprises four contiguous prospecting licenses in southwestern Botswana, covering a total area of 2,653 km2. The Nara Project comprises 45 contiguous gold claims, Nara covers four historic mines with combined recorded production of more than 90,000 ounces (oz). The Leopard Project consists of two contiguous claim blocks Leopard South and Leopard North covering a combined area of 896 hectares in southern Zimbabwe. The Hillside project is located in the historic Filabusi Greenstone Belt.
