3D Energi Limited is an Australia-based energy company. The Company is engaged in exploration and development of upstream oil and gas assets. It has developed a portfolio of highly prospective offshore exploration permits in the offshore Otway and Gippsland basins of Southeast Australia. Its project includes Offshore Otway, VIC/TAS; Offshore Gippsland, VIC; Onshore Otway, SA, and Offshore Bedout, WA. The Offshore Otway Project includes two offshore exploration permits in the offshore Otway Basin, VIC/P79 and T/49P. The VIC/P74 petroleum exploration permit covers an area of 1,006 square kilometer (km2) and lies within shallow Commonwealth waters of the Gippsland Basin, where water depths range up to 70 m. The Onshore Otway Project at GSEL 759 is exploring the feasibility of the abandoned Caroline carbon dioxide (CO2) field within the onshore Otway Basin as a gas storage site, with the depleted reservoir potentially suitable for the storage of hydrogen, natural gas, or carbon dioxide.
