Profile Summary
Akola Group AB, formerly Linas Agro Group AB, is a Lithuania-based agriculture company primarily engaged in food production. The Company operates through five basic segments: The Grain, Oilseed and Feed segment includes trade in wheat, barley, rapeseed, sunflower and linseed, production and trade of feedstuffs, grain storage and logistics services; The Farming segment covers sales of fertilizers, seeds, plant protection products, machinery and equipment, and others; The Agricultural Production segment includes growing of grains, rapeseed and others as well as sales of harvest, breeding of livestock and sales of milk and livestock; The Food Products segment includes whole cycle poultry business, production and wholesale of flour, instant foods, production, and wholesale of breadcrumbs and breading mixes; The Other Products and Services segment includes trade in pest control and hygiene products, production and sales of extruded products, pet food, veterinary pharmaceutical services.
