Profile Summary
Altech Batteries Limited is a specialty battery technology company. The Company has a joint venture agreement with the German battery institute Fraunhofer IKTS (IKTS) to commercialize the CERENERGY Sodium Chloride Solid State (SCSS) Battery. Its segments include Silumina Anodes, CERENERGY, High Purity Alumina (HPA), and Corporate. CERENERGY batteries are the game-changing alternative to lithium-ion batteries. CERENERGY batteries are fire and explosion-proof; have a life span of more than 15 years, and operate in extreme cold and desert climates. The battery technology uses table salt and is lithium-free; cobalt-free; graphite-free; and copper-free, eliminating exposure to critical metal price rises and supply chain concerns. The PE ratio (or price-to-earnings ratio) is the one of the most popular valuation measures used by stock market investors. It is calculated by dividing a company's price per share by its earnings per share.
The PE ratio can be seen as being expressed in years, in the sense that it shows the number of years of earnings which would be required to pay back the purchase price, ignoring inflation. So in general terms, the higher the PE, the more expensive the stock is.
