Profile Summary
Anacortes Mining Corp. is a gold company. The Company is focused on the acquisition and development of advanced-stage gold projects as well as the acquisition of operating gold mines in stable mining jurisdictions within the Americas. The Company owns an interest in the Tres Cruces gold project located in Peru. The Tres Cruces Project, located in Northern Peru within the prolific Quiruvilca Mining District, is 100% owned (mineral concessions and surface rights), approximately 10 kilometer (km) from Barrick's existing Lagunas Norte operations. The Tres Cruces project contains a NI 43-101 Resource Estimate of 2.47 million ounces of gold at 1.65 g/t gold in the indicated category, consisting of 46.5M tonnes of oxide and sulfide material. The Tres Cruces property is owned by the Company's subsidiary in Peru, Aurifera Tres Cruces, S.A. (Aurifera).
