Profile Summary
Australian Pacific Coal Limited is focused on developing and acquiring coal projects. The Company’s principal asset is the Dartbrook Coal Mine located in the Hunter Valley, New South Wales (NSW), approximately four kilometers (km) west of Aberdeen and 10 km north-west of Muswellbrook. Dartbrook mine produces a thermal coal that is typical of the Hunter Valley with the potential to produce some semi-soft metallurgical coal. Its mining tenements in the Dartbrook Project include AUTH 256, EL 4574, EL 4575, EL 5525, CL 386, ML 1381, ML 1456, and ML 1497. In Queensland, the Company holds interests in the Matuan Downs Bentonite Project and a Joint Venture interest in tenements with Blackwood Resources Pty Ltd. The mining tenement on the Matuan Downs Bentonite Project is ML 70360. The Company’s subsidiary, Mining Investments One Pty Ltd, holds a 10% interest in each of the Blackwood Resources Pty Ltd joint venture tenements, which include EPC 1955 and EPC 1987.
