Profile Summary
Canadian Banc Corp. is a Canada-based mutual fund. The Company’s investment objectives are to provide holders of preferred shares with cumulative preferential floating rate monthly cash dividends at a rate per annum equal to the Prime Rate plus 1.5%, with a minimum annual rate of 5.0% and a maximum annual rate of 8.0%; to provide holders of Class A Shares with regular monthly cash distributions; and to return the original issue price of $10.00 and $15.00 to holders of preferred shares and Class A Share. It may also invest up to 20% of the net asset value in equity securities of Canadian or foreign financial service corporations other than portfolio companies. The Company invests in a portfolio of six publicly traded Canadian banks, namely Bank of Montreal, Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce, National Bank of Canada, Royal Bank of Canada, Bank of Nova Scotia and Toronto-Dominion Bank. Quadravest Capital Management Inc. is the investment manager of the Company.
