Profile Summary
Carlit Co Ltd, formerly Carlit Holdings Co Ltd, is a Japan-based company mainly engaged in the chemicals, bottling, industrial materials, and engineering services business. The Company operates through four business segments. The Chemicals segment consists of six business fields: chemicals, chemical products, electronic materials, contract evaluation, ceramic materials, and silicon wafers. The Chemicals segment is engaged in the manufacture and sale of industrial explosives, hazard assessment tests, sodium chlorate, pesticides, organic conductive materials, abrasives, and silicon wafers for semiconductors. The Bottling segment handles the bottling processing and sales of soft drinks. The Metal Processing segment manufactures and sells silicon wafers for semiconductors, various heat-resistant refractories, and springs. The Engineering Services segment sells and paints industrial paints, and designs and supervises water and sewage and wastewater treatment facilities.
