Profile Summary
Colefax Group plc is an international designer and distributor of furnishing fabrics and wallpapers. The Company owns an interior decorating business. The principal activities of the Company are the design, marketing, distribution and retailing of furnishing fabrics, wallpapers, trimmings, related products, and upholstered furniture in the United Kingdom and overseas and the sale of antiques, interior and architectural design, project management, decorating and furnishing for private and commercial clients. The Company's divisions include Product Division and Interior Decorating Division. The Company trades under five brand names, serving different segments of the soft furnishings marketplace, which include Colefax and Fowler, Cowtan & Tout, Jane Churchill, Manuel Canovas and Larsen. It mainly sells to interior designers and interior design shops, serving the residential market. All of the fabrics and wallpapers sold by the Company are manufactured by third party suppliers.
