Profile Summary
Dalmia Bharat Sugar and Industries Limited is an India-based sugar company. The Company is engaged in manufacturing of sugar, generation of power, manufacturing of industrial alcohol and manufacturing of refractory products. Its segments include sugar, power, distillery and others. The sugar segment is engaged in the manufacturing and marketing of sugar. The power segment includes generation and sale of power. The distillery segment includes production and sale of ethanol, extra neutral alcohol (ENA) and sanitizer. The others segment includes magnesite, travel, and electronics activities of the Company. It exports to various locations, including Indonesia, Malaysia, North Africa and East Africa. The Company owns and operates around five sugar manufacturing plants located in two states: Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh. Its sugar, distillery and cogeneration production capacity includes around 37150 tons of cane crushed per day, 710 kilo liters per day and 126 megawatts respectively.
