Emperor Energy Limited is a diversified energy company with upstream and downstream assets in Australia. The Company invests in selected exploration, production and development opportunities in the upstream oil and gas sector. It is engaged in petroleum exploration and investment within Australia. The Company is focused on the development of the 100% owned Judith Gas Field Project (Vic/P47), which covers approximately 202 square kilometers (km2) and is located around 40 kilometers (km) offshore from the Orbost Gas Plant in the Gippsland Basin, Victoria. The Company owns 100% of the Backreef block in the Canning Basin, Western Australia. It has three Great Caesar Gold Mining Leases, with a total area of 128 hectares, located between Townsville and Charters Towers City in North Queensland, Australia. Its subsidiaries include OBL Backreef No.10 Pty Ltd, Emperor Resources Pty Limited, Shelf Oil Pty Ltd and Backreef Energy Pty Ltd.
