European Defence Group SA, formerly Pgf Polska Grupa Fotowoltaiczna SA is a Poland-based company primarily engaged in defense business sector. The Company is an investment holding that invests mainly in enterprises and projects within the defense sector as well as dual use technologies. The four areas within the defense sector in which the company invests capital are: the production and modernization of military equipment - primarily diesel engines for armored vehicles and tanks; unmanned systems, specifically unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) for combat and logistical purposes; counter-UAS technologies, which enable the detection, tracking, and neutralization of hostile drones; and battlefield reconnaissance systems.
