Profile Summary
Firefly AB is a Sweden-based company engaged in the development, manufacture and marketing of fire and dust explosion protection systems. The Company’s activities are structured into two principal business areas: Industrial Applications and Infra systems (Sentio). The Industrial applications area includes customized fire prevention systems, which monitor industrial processes in such industries as woodworking, tissue, food, bioenergy, tobacco and recycling, among others. The Company's solutions include Quick Suppression System, Spark Detection System and a range of extinguishing methods. The Infrastructure systems business area includes fire monitoring of tunnels, including subway, train, road and cable tunnels, by means of multiple gas detection (MGD) or electronic nose. The Company offers its solutions worldwide.
