Profile Summary
GrainCorp Limited is engaged in the integrated grain and edible oils business with a presence in grain storage and handling business in East Coast Australia (ECA) and is an edible oil processor and oilseed crusher in Australia and New Zealand. It has created a global supply chain with infrastructure assets that store, process and facilitate the transportation of grains and edible oils. Its segments include Agribusiness and Nutrition & Energy. Agribusiness segment includes end-to-end grains supply chain business with diversified international grain origination and destination capabilities. The key commodities and products handled and traded by this segment include wheat, coarse grains (including barley, sorghum and corn), oilseeds, pulses and organics. Nutrition & Energy segment includes vertically integrated business comprising of edible oils crushing, processing, manufacturing, distribution and trading of animal fats, used cooking oils and vegetable oils for animal feed purposes.
