It operates through three segments: Services, Insurance-as-a-Service, and Hippo Home Insurance Program. The Services Segment is comprised of its Consumer Agency, which serves consumers who are shopping for insurance and First Connect. Insurance-as-a-Service segment is focused on providing insurance capacity to program administrators and managing general agencies. The Hippo Home Insurance Program is the Company’s Hippo-branded homeowners insurance business. Its operating subsidiaries include Hippo Insurance Services, Hippo Home Care, First Connect Insurance Services, Spinnaker Insurance Company, Spinnaker Specialty Insurance Company and Mainsail Insurance Company. Hippo Insurance Services is a licensed property casualty insurance agent with products underwritten by various affiliated and unaffiliated insurance companies.
