Profile Summary
Invictus Energy Limited is an Australia-based independent upstream oil and gas company. The Company is focused on energy resources in sub-Saharan Africa. Its asset portfolio consists of 360,000 hectares within the Cabora Bassa Basin in Zimbabwe, SG 4571 and EPOs 1848/49 contain the Mukuyu and multiple Basin Margin prospects. The Cabora Bassa Basin project is located in northern Zimbabwe near the border of Mozambique. The Mukuyu Gas Field has multiple hydrocarbon-bearing reservoirs containing gas in the Upper and Lower Angwa Formations. The Mukuyu structure has an areal closure of more than 200 square kilometers (km2) and vertical relief of approximately 1,400 meters. Basin Margin Play has a total of eight targets: Kigelia, Baobab, Munondo, Acacia, Marula, Mukamba, Mimosa and Mukwa, identified stretching east-west through the southern reaches of the EPO 1848 licence area. Its subsidiaries include HIS Texas LLC, Invictus Energy Resources Pty Limited, Geo Associates (Pvt) Ltd, and others.
