Profile Summary
Konoike Transport Co Ltd engages in the transportation services, as well as contracting out processes within customer factories and installing plant equipment. The Company operates in three business segments. The Comprehensive Solutions segment contracts out processes in the business activities of client companies, targeting industries and business types ranging from materials industries such as steel, non-ferrous metals, gas and chemicals, to consumer industries such as food and daily necessities, the aviation industry and the medical industry. The Domestic Logistics segment conducts temperature-controlled logistics operations based in frozen and refrigerated warehouses owned domestically, and general logistics operations based in dry warehouses. The International Logistics segment conducts sea freight and air freight, and handles warehousing for import and export cargo both domestically and internationally. Other businesses include software development and maintenance and others.
