Profile Summary
Koonenberry Gold Ltd is an Australia-based mineral explorer company. The Company is focused on the exploration of its 100%-owned Koonenberry Gold Project. The project is located in north-western New South Wales, approximately 160 kilometers (km) north-east of the major mining and cultural center of Broken Hill and 40 km west of the opal mining town of White Cliffs. The project covers approximately 2,060 square kilometers of granted exploration licenses (ELs) in a consolidated tenement package. The licenses are held by its subsidiary, Lasseter Gold Pty Ltd. The project area covers a series of Mid-Cambrian marine sediments of the Teltawongee and Ponto Groups. It focuses on advancing exploration activities at Bellagio and Atlantis Projects. It also owns Enmore Gold Project comprising one granted EL in the New England Fold Belt, New South Wales and Lachlan Copper-Gold Projects comprising two farm-in and joint venture agreements (Junee and Fairholme) managed by Newmont Exploration Pty Ltd.
