LGI Limited is an Australia-based company, which is engaged in the recovery of biogas from landfill, and the subsequent conversion into renewable electricity and saleable environmental products. The Company's vertically integrated operations cover the engineering and management of landfill gas infrastructure. The Company's segments include Renewable Energy, Carbon abatement, and Infrastructure construction and management. The Renewable Energy segment includes renewable power stations, which sells renewable electricity and Large Scale Generation Certificates (LGCs). This segment, with the commissioning of Bunya battery, also includes Frequency Control Ancillary Service (FCAS). The Carbon abatement segment includes acquisition, creation and sale of Australian Carbon Credit Units (ACCUs). The Infrastructure construction and management segment consists of engagement with landfill owners, including landfill infrastructure construction projects, site management services and consulting.
