Profile Summary
Local Inc is a Japan-based company mainly engaged in the entire process from planning and development of food products using local products to purchasing, manufacturing, and sales via e-commerce (EC). The Food SPA segment includes the direct-to-consumer (DtoC) business, which sells products on e-commerce sites and provides gifts in return, and the business-to-government (BtoG) business, which supports the operation of hometown tax donations. The Company manufactures a wide range of food products, including rice milling, meat processing, mineral water production, food processing, and hamburger steak production, and operates multiple e-commerce sites, selling local products from all over Japan, with a focus on the Kyushu region, such as Kumamoto Fudo and Kyushu Fudo. The Company is also engaged in the food and beverage business, operating three steak specialty restaurants called Steak Mania.
