Profile Summary
Matsa Resources Limited is an exploration and gold mining company operating south of Laverton in the northeastern goldfields of Western Australia. The Company’s exploration activities are focused on its flagship Lake Carey Gold Project in Western Australia and its lithium projects in western Thailand. Its lithium projects are located within Thailand’s prospective western granite belt. The Company holds a ground position of about 449 square kilometers at Lake Carey within the Laverton tectonic zone, located in Western Australia. The Lake Carey Gold Project includes three gold mines that are in care and maintenance, including the underground Red October gold mine and open pit Fortitude and Devon gold pits. Its key exploration focus at Lake Carey is centered on defining a new resource at the Fortitude North prospect, located about six kilometers (km) to the north and along the strike of the Fortitude Gold Mine. Its lithium projects cover approximately 1,700 square kilometers.
