Profile Summary
Middle Island Resources Limited is an Australia-based junior exploration company targeting quality copper-gold projects in Australia. The Company’s flagship asset is the Barkly Copper-Gold Super Project, which is prospective for large iron oxide copper gold (IOCG) and sediment hosted cu-zn-pb-ag (SedH) deposits at Tennant Creek and Barkly in the Northern Territory. It also has several exploration projects (granted and pending applications) in the New England Fold within Queensland. The Barkly Super Project comprises 14 granted exploration licenses and two exploration license applications covering approximately 6,918 square kilometers (km2). The Barkly tenements primarily cover the interpreted eastward extensions of the Tennant Creek Mineral Field by Proterozoic stratigraphy. Its Queensland Copper-Gold Projects include three separate project areas with granted 100% owned tenements (Ridgelands, Greenbank and Cockatoo Projects) and other project areas under application pending grant.
