Nyrstar NV, formerly Nyrstar SA is a Belgium-based global multi-metals business company. The Company is primarily engaged in the production of zinc and lead, as well as precious metals, such as silver and gold. Nyrstar NV's operations comprise of two segments: Mining operations (mines located in Mexico, Peru, Chile, Canada, the United States and Honduras) and Metals Processing (smelters located in France, Belgium, the United States, the Netherlands, Australia and Norway). The Company's mining, smelting and other operations are held through its numerous subsidiaries based in Europe, the Americas, China and Australia.
