Prodlacta SA is a Romania-based company primarily engaged in the production of milk and dairy products. The Company’s portfolio includes milk, butter, cheese, ice creams and yogurts, among others. The Company distributes its products nationally, in the county and city of Brasov, in Bucharest, and in the counties of Valea Prahovei, Prahova and Harghita. Its main clients are Metro, Selgros, Carrefour, Real, Cora and Kaufland. Additionally, the Company is involved in the provision of services, such as storage, distribution and marketing of dairy products for third parties. The Company operates through three production and storing units, which are located in Brasov, Fagaras and Homorod. As of December 12, 2011, the Company was in the process of insolvency.
