Profile Summary
QEM Limited is an Australia-based mineral exploration company. The Company is focused on the exploration and development of its flagship Julia Creek Project, covering 250 square kilometers (km2) in the Julia Creek area of North Western Queensland. The Julia Creek Vanadium and Oil shale Project (JCP) comprises four exploration permits: EPM 26429, EPM 25681, EPM 25662 and EPM 27057, with a total tenement size of 249.6 km2. Situated just 6km south-east of the Julia Creek township, the project benefits from proximity to major infrastructure and services. It is intersected by the primary infrastructure corridor of the Flinders Highway and the Great Northern Railway, which connects Mount Isa to the Port of Townsville. The Company's Julia Creek Project holds a 2,870Mt Vanadium JORC Resource with an average V2O5 content of 0.31%, with 461Mt in the Indicated category and 2,409Mt in the Inferred category.
