Sakata Inx Corp is a Japan-based company mainly engaged in the printing ink business. It operates through five business segments. The Printing Inks & Equipment Materials (Japan), Printing Inks (Asia), Printing Inks (North America), and Printing Inks (Europe) segments are primarily engaged in the production and sale of flexographic inks, gravure inks, metal-on inks, newspaper inks, and offset inks for the Japanese, Asian, North American, and European markets. The Printing Inks & Equipment Materials (Japan) segment also purchases and sells printing platemaking materials and related equipment for the Japanese market. The Functional Materials segment is primarily engaged in the production and sale of inkjet inks, toners, pigment dispersions for color filters, and functional coating agents for the Japanese, Asian, North American, and European markets. It also purchases and sells chemical products and produces and sells display services for the Japanese market.
