SBS Transit Ltd is a Singapore-based company engaged in the provision of public transport services, such as bus and rail services. The Company operates through two segments: Bus and Rail. The Bus segment includes bus fare collections, advertisements on buses and at bus interchanges, and rental collections from commercial and shop space at bus interchanges. The Rail segment includes rail fare collections, advertisements on trains and at Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) and Light Rail Transit (LRT) stations, and rental collections from commercial and shop space at rail stations. The Company operates North East Line (NEL), Sengkang and Punggol LRT Systems, Downtown Line. The Company has a fleet of over 3,656 buses. The Company operates approximately 261 bus routes, of which 215 are basic services. The Company's subsidiary, SBS Transit DTL Pte. Ltd., is engaged in the operation and maintenance of Downtown Line.
