Profile Summary
Steamships Trading Company Limited is engaged in shipping, transport, property and hospitality operations in Papua New Guinea. The Company has three operating segments, namely Property and Hospitality, Logistics, and Commercial and Investments. Its Property and Hospitality segment comprises hotels owned and operated by the Group and its property leasing division. Its portfolio of hotels includes CORAL SEA HOTELS (CSH) and Pacific Palms Property (PPP). Its Logistics segment consists of shipping and land-based freight transport and related services divisions. Its logistics business comprises Consort Express Lines shipping (CEL), EastWest Transport (EWT), Joint Venture Port Services (JVPS) and Pacific Towing. Its Commercial and Investments segment includes commercial, head office administration function, and insurance activities. The Company’s subsidiaries include Steamships Limited, Croesus Limited, Oro Stevedoring Limited, Kiunga Stevedoring Company Limited, among others.
