Profile Summary
Switch Metals Plc, formerly Oneiro Energy plc, is a United Kingdom-based company. It holds coltan (tantalum and niobium) and lithium licenses in Cote d'Ivoire with over 3,000 square kilometers (km2), including its license applications. Its portfolio is comprised of three primary projects: Issia, Tiassale and Bouake, spanning approximately 3,172 km2, as well as two non-core additional projects, Touba and Sakassou. Its flagship project is the ISSIA coltan project, covering 112 km2 license. ISSIA features both shallow placer deposits and hard rock coltan discoveries. TIASSALE is a lithium spodumene project, covering 990 km2 across three licenses, provides exploration upside, with historically identified spodumene in outcrops. BOUAKE offers additional exploration potential for coltan with a first 370 km2 license granted. BOUAKE has multiple unexplored pegmatite occurrences and past findings of coltan and associated rare earth minerals, such as monazite and xenotime, in pan concentrates.
