Unibel SA is a France-based holding company that is engaged in the production of cheese. Its principal holding is in Groupe Bel, a producer of a variety of types of cheese, including cream cheese, hard cheese, soft cheese and processed cheese. The Group Bel has a portfolio of international and domestic brands of cheese and related products, which are distributed across 120 countries worldwide. Its core brands include La vache qui rit, Kiri, Mini Babybel, Boursin and Leerdamer. The Company acts as an umbrella company for a group of operating subsidiaries, including Fromageries Bel, Safr, Sicopa, Bel Belgium, Bel Canada, Bel Egypt Distribution, Bel Americas Inc, Bel UK Ltd, Bel Italia Spa, Bel Japon, Bel Polska, Safilait and Bel Syry Cesko AS, among others.
