Profile Summary
Westgold Resources Limited is a gold producer located in the Murchison and Southern Goldfields regions of Western Australia. Murchison Operations incorporates three processing hubs at Cue, Meekatharra and Fortnum. Its Southern Goldfields operations encompass the Beta Hunt and Two Boys underground mines and smaller open pit operations, all of which are serviced by the 1.6Mtpa Higginsville processing plant. Its operations at Fortnum are located in the Proterozoic age Bryah Basin stratigraphy approximately 150 km northwest of Meekatharra. Its operations around the regional town of Meekatharra encompass Westgold’s central group of assets, including the historic gold mining centres of Meekatharra North, Paddy’s Flat, Yaloginda, Nannine and Reedy’s. Its operations around the regional town of Cue encompass the historic mining centres of Big Bell, Cuddingwarra, Day Dawn and Tuckabianna. The underground Beta Hunt Mine located 600 km from Perth in Kambalda, Western Australia.
