Sanyo Chemical Industries Ltd is a Japan-based company engaged in the manufacturing and sales of products across sectors including lifestyle and healthcare, petroleum and transportation machinery, plastics and textiles, information and electronics and environmental and housing facilities. The Company has five segments. Lifestyle and Healthcare segment offers surfactants for detergents and toiletries, pharmaceutical additives and other polymers. Petroleum and Transportation Machinery segment offers urethane beads for automotive interior skins and raw materials. Plastics and Textile segment offers permanent antistatic agents, pigment dispersants, resin modifiers, coating agents and other agents. Information and electronics segment offers toner binders for printers, as well as a range of materials. Environmental and Housing facilities segment offers polymer flocculants for wastewater treatment and raw materials for polyurethane insulation. The Company also engages in logistics services.
