The Company operates in four business segments. The High Functional Products segment is engaged in the manufacture and sale of processed copper products, functional materials, electronic devices, chemical products, sealing components, and other products. The Machined Components Business segment manufactures and sells cemented carbide products and other products. The Metals Business segment is engaged in smelting and sales of copper, gold, silver, palladium, and other metals. It also engages in smelting and refining. The Environment & Energy segment is engaged in geothermal and hydroelectric power generation and environmental recycling. The Company also operates cement and related businesses and engineering-related businesses.
