AICHI STEEL CORPORATION is a Japan-based company mainly engaged in the production and sale of steel products, forged products, electronic functional materials and parts, and magnet applied products. It has four business segments. Steel (Hagane) Company segment is engaged in the manufacture and sale of hot-rolled steel, secondary processed steel products and stainless steel structural materials, the production of steelmaking materials, and transportation and storage of steel products. Forging (Kitael) Company segment is engaged in the manufacture and sale of stamped and forged products such as automotive parts and machine parts. Smart Company segment manufactures and sells electronic functional materials and parts, magnet applied products, plant active materials, and metal fibers. Products include amorphous magnetic impedance (MI) sensors, denture attachments and neodymium anisotropic bonded magnets. Other segment provides software development, product sales and greening services.
