Hyoki Kaiun Kaisha Ltd is a Japan-based company mainly engaged in the marine and harbor transportation businesses. The Company operates in two business segments. The Shipping segment is involved in the coastal shipping and ocean shipping business. Coastal shipping business mainly deals with domestic maritime transportation. Part of cargo handling at Himeji Port is outsourced to an affiliated company. It is also involved in the domestic shipping related businesses such as seafarer dispatch. Ocean shipping business mainly operates vessels owned by the Company’s subsidiaries. The Port Transportation & Warehousing segment is involved in the operation of port transportation and the warehousing businesses at Kobe, Osaka and Himeji Port. The Company is also involved in the real estate leasing and commercial business.
