ALS Limited is a global testing, inspection, and certification business. The Company operates under three segments: Commodities, Life Sciences, and Industrial. Commodities provide assaying and analytical testing services and metallurgical services for mining and mineral exploration companies and provide specialist services to the coal industry, such as coal sampling, analysis and certification, formation evaluation services, and related analytical testing. Life Sciences provides analytical testing data to assist consulting and engineering firms, industry, and governments in making informed decisions about the environmental, food and pharmaceutical, electronics, consumer products, and animal health. Industrial provides the energy, resources, and infrastructure sectors with asset care and tribology testing services. It offers services in asset integrity and reliability, environmental and occupational hygiene, Food and beverage, Mining and commodities, and Pharmaceutical and healthcare.
