Profile Summary
Canterbury Resources Limited is an Australia-based resource company. The Company is focused on exploring potential Tier-1 copper-gold projects in the southwest pacific. It has a portfolio of projects in Australia and Papua New Guinea (PNG) that are prospective for porphyry copper-gold and epithermal gold-silver deposits. The Company has mineral resources at three deposits: the Briggs copper deposit in Queensland, and the Idzan Creek and Wamum Creek copper-gold deposits in PNG. The Briggs, Mannersley, Fig Tree Hill and Don River tenements are located in central Queensland, approximately 60 kilometers (km) inland from the industrial port of Gladstone. It holds EPM27756 (Peenam), located approximately 150km northwest of Brisbane, which is prospective for porphyry style copper-gold-molybdenum (Cu-Au-Mo) mineralization. Its Wamum tenement covers a series of copper-gold porphyry related prospects, including two deposits containing a combined 2.6Moz gold and 569kt copper.
