CATHAY CHEMICAL WORKS INC. is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the manufacture and sales of chemical products. Its products include sodium hydrosulfite, zinc oxide, sodium formaldehyde sulfoxylate and sodium bisulfate, among others. Sodium hydrosulfite is used as decolorizer. Zinc oxide is used as glass flux, white-making ingredient and photoelectric conduction enhancer of electronic industry. Sodium formaldehyde sulfoxylate is used as polymerizing agent for synthetic rubber and oxygen inhibition agent for oil drilling. Sodium bisulfate is used as industrial sewage treatment agent. The Company operates businesses in Taiwan, Asia, America and Europe, among others.
