CHUGAI PHARMACEUTICAL CO., LTD. is a Japan-based company mainly engaged in the research, development, manufacture, sale, import and export of pharmaceutical products. The pharmaceutical products and medical devices for patients include ACTEMRA, Avastin, ALECENSA, Kadcyla, GAZYVA, CellCept, Zelboraf, Xeloda, Tamiflu, Tarceva, Tecentriq, Herceptin, Perjeta, cancer gene panel testing and others. These products are primarily used to treat conditions such as cancer, kidney disease and kidney transplantation, bone and joint diseases (rheumatoid arthritis), neurological and muscular diseases (neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorders, spinal muscular atrophy, and Duchenne muscular dystrophy), blood disorders (hemophilia and paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria), and eye diseases (retinal disorders). It also engages in administrative operations, the provision of scientific information on pharmaceuticals, investment activities, and the provision of influenza information services.
