Profile Summary
CSR Limited is an Australia-based building products company in Australia and New Zealand. Its principal activities include the manufacture and supply of building products. Its Building Products segment includes interior systems (Gyprock plasterboard, Martini, Himmel Interior Systems and Rondo rolled formed steel products joint venture), construction systems (Hebel autoclaved aerated concrete products, AFS walling systems and Cemintel fibre cement), and masonry and insulation (Bradford insulation, Bradford energy solutions, Edmonds ventilation systems, Monier roofing, PGH Bricks and Pavers and New Zealand Brick Distributors joint venture). Its Property segment is engaged in the sale of former operating sites. In addition, this segment is involved in a small number of large-scale developments in New South Wales, Queensland, and Victoria. Its Aluminium segment relates to its interest in Gove Aluminium Finance Limited, which in turn holds an interest in the Tomago aluminum smelter.
