Profile Summary
Daido Metal Co., Ltd. is a Japan-based company engaged in the domestic and international manufacture and sale of various industrial lubricated bearings, non-lubricated bearings, general industrial special bearings, and others. It operates through four business segments. The Powertrain segment manufactures and sells automotive engine bearings for automobiles, as well as motorcycle engine bearings and bearings for engine accessories. The Marine & Energy segment manufactures and sells industrial bearings used in fields such as marine low-speed engines, marine and industrial medium-to-high-speed engines and others. The Life Segment manufactures and sells bearings for automotive components, including shock absorbers, air conditioning compressors and others. The Frontier Segment manufactures and sells aluminum die-cast products for automobiles and precision metal-machined parts. The other businesses cover the manufacture and sale of electrode sheets for electric double-layer capacitors.
