Daido Steel Co Ltd is a Japan-based company mainly provides special steel products, functional and magnetic materials, automotive and industrial machinery parts, engineering, and distribution and services. It operates through five segments. The Special Steel Products segment manufactures and sells special steel products. The Functional and Magnetic Materials segment manufactures and sells stainless steel products, rare earth magnets, high-alloy products, materials for electrical and others. The Automotive and Industrial Machinery Parts segment manufactures and sells die-forged products, steel machinery products for trucks, band saw materials and others. The Engineering segment manufactures and sells steel equipment and environmental equipment. The Distribution and Services segment engages in real estate, insurance, the group's employee welfare business, golf course management, analysis of steel and ceramics, development and maintenance of information systems, and building rental.
