Profile Summary
Desert Metals Limited is engaged in exploration activities for nickel and copper on the northwest margin of the Yilgarn craton in Western Australia. Its Narryer Project is located about 120 kilometers (km) northwest of the town of Meekathara. The project is prospective for nickel sulfide and gold mineralization. The project comprises about nine granted exploration licenses covering a combined area of over 1,600 square kilometers. The project consists of various prospects, including the Opal Bore, Innouendy, Irrida Hill, Irrida East, Breakaway, Dingo Pass and Mt Gould nickel, copper and gold prospects; the Hooper nickel and copper prospect; and the Belele copper, lead, zinc, gold prospect. The project area is prospective for two principal styles of mineralization: Nickel-Sulfide mineralization and orogenic gold mineralization. The Opal Bore Gold Prospect includes E09/2331. The Innouendy prospect includes E09/2330. The Irrida Hill and Irrida East prospects include E09/2302, E09/2351.
